Supporting Veterans, Military, & First Responders
Supporting Veterans, Military, & First Responders
Founded in South Florida, the LCpl Janos V. Lutz Live To Tell Foundation was created to address Veteran suicide and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD).
Today, our programs—especially the Lutz Buddy Up Social Clubs—are recognized by the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense as vital resources for peer support, community connection, and mental health.
Lutz’s Legacy
LCpl Janos “Johnny” V. Lutz honorably served as a USMC Assaultman in Iraq and Afghanistan. After returning home, he battled PTSD and TBI and tragically lost his life due to dangerous prescriptions and inadequate care.
His story is not unique. Too many Veterans and First Responders face similar struggles. Through the Live To Tell Foundation, we fight for change, raise awareness, and provide real-life solutions.
#IWasLutz Campaign
We want to hear your story. Share your experiences, honor those we’ve lost, and help us advocate for meaningful change. Use the hashtag #IWasLutz to join the movement.
To improve the lives of Military and First Responders with supportive services, access to local resources, and community building.
Every Veteran successfully reintegrates into civilian life, and all Military and First Responders live healthy, productive lives.
Together We Will!
“This group will transform you. From dealing with mental health issues, to learning how to manage and reduce negative thoughts. All by surrounding yourself with people who have been there and actually care.”
“This program helps countless veterans gain support, comradery, and assistance. It fosters lifelong friendships and helps veterans find their path.”
“Work and kids had me running on overdrive. Lutz Buddy Up reminded me of what I didn’t realize I was missing: great company, friendly banter, and an amazing crayon selection!”
